At TasNetworks, our apprenticeships offer more than just a qualification — they’re the start of a long-term career helping power Tasmania’s future. 

We have 12 Apprenticeship opportunities across the business, in the South, North and North-West of our beautiful State of Tasmania.

We’re now inviting Expressions of Interest for our 2027 intake, with opportunities across three exciting trade pathways including Electrical, Transmission Lineworker and Distribution Lineworker, offering an excellent base salary from $79,000 per annum (plus super) and a 9 day fortnight.

Our Apprenticeship program is a 4 year commitment with a permanent role being offered within the region once you are a qualified tradesperson.

Along the way, you’ll:

• Earn while you learn - on the job and in the classroom


• Work alongside experienced Lineworkers and industry experts


• Build practical skills and obtain a qualification


• Help maintain and build Tasmania’s electricity network


• Work on major projects across Tasmania – build a career that matters


• Receive ongoing coaching, support and mentoring
