School-Based Trainee – Aged Care
Join Wesley Mission Queensland’s School-Based Trainee Program and begin your career in aged care. Based at Dovetree Sinnamon Village, this part-time traineeship offers hands-on experience in personal care position within a supportive, community-focused environment.

As a School-Based Trainee, you will:

• Build positive relationships with residents, families and team members

• Contribute to a warm, welcoming and person-centred environment

• Support residents’ independence, dignity and wellbeing

• Work safely and uphold WMQ’s values of compassion, respect and integrity

Requirements:

• Currently completing Year 11 and eligible for a school-based traineeship

• Enrolled or commencing Certificate II/III in Health Services Assistance

• Basic technology skills and clear communication abilities

• Ability to follow supervision, maintain safety and meet vaccination/probity requirements
