2027 Radiographer/ Medical Imaging Technologist (Grade 1) New Graduate Program
About the Program
Barwon Medical Imaging (BMI) is offering a structured 12-month New Graduate Program for Radiographers commencing their careers in January 2027. Designed for final-year students graduating in 2026, the program provides a supported pathway into public hospital radiography, with rotational exposure across general X-ray, mobile and theatre imaging, and fluoroscopy, backed by a dedicated education and clinical supervision framework.
BMI provides a 24/7 comprehensive diagnostic imaging service across University Hospital Geelong, Barwon Health North, the McKellar Centre and Colac Area Health, using Digital X-ray, OPG, 3rd generation Dual Energy and Spectral CT, 3.0T MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, a new Hybrid Angio-CT Interventional suite, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine. Joining as a graduate gives you a front-row seat to this full breadth of modern medical imaging technology.
