Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Union Pacific is seeking a motivated and driven Accountant to join our team on a remote basis in Perth, Western Australia. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial information and preparing reports to help our company make informed financial decisions. This is a part-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable - Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Analyze financial data and identify trends - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards - Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes - Provide financial data and reports to senior management

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 2+ years of experience in accounting - Strong decision-making skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - CPA certification is a plus - Motivated and driven personality traits
