Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

ZipMoney is seeking a motivated and independent Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Melbourne, Victoria, AU. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various financial tasks and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities: - Manage accounts payable and receivable processes - Reconcile bank statements and financial data - Prepare financial statements and reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Conduct financial analysis and make recommendations for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy - Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and best practices - Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 3+ years of experience in a similar role - CPA certification is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to think strategically and plan effectively - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
