Accountant

Job Description:

Publix Super Markets is seeking a dedicated and passionate Accountant to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales, AU. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain financial records for the company 2. Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements 3. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring 4. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations 5. Assist with audits and tax preparation 6. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management 7. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information 8. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements 9. Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations - Excellent planning and organizational skills - Creative problem-solving abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
