Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Western & Southern Financial Group is seeking a part-time Accountant to work from home in Brisbane, Queensland. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in accounting and be comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Conduct tax planning and compliance activities - Perform reconciliations of accounts - Identify and implement process improvements - Collaborate with team members on various projects - Communicate effectively with clients and partners

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification preferred - 4+ years of experience in accounting - Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Confidence in dealing with complex financial issues - Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements - Strong presentation and strategic planning skills
