Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Domtar is seeking a passionate and driven Accountant to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a part-time, work-from-home position suitable for those with entry-level experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable - Prepare financial statements and reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Reconcile bank statements - Assist with tax preparation and compliance - Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records - Provide support for audits as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 1 year of accounting experience - Strong attention to detail - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong people management and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
