Job Description:

GameStop is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. This position is part-time and at the Associate level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices and purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner - Verify and reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents - Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports - Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial audits - Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Driven and confident personality traits - Strong presentation and negotiation skills
