Tax Accountant - Part-Time

We are a CPA Practice in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Due to our consistent growth we are looking for a part time tax accountant to join our team.

We have a diverse range of clients which we provide accounting, taxation, superannuation and business services.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2 years or more experience in a similar role

• Experience in using HandiSoft, Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office. Experience is using Simple Fund 360 will be an advantage.

• Attention to detail

• Willingness to learn

• Good written and verbal communication skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements for individuals, trust, companies, partnerships and self-managed superannuation fund, tax returns and activity statements.

• Liaise with the ATO, ASIC and other regulatory authorities.

• Bookkeeping and payroll processing.

• Have a high level of understanding of Australian Taxation Law

• Be able to work independently and get things done.
