The Opportunity

The initial opportunity is a maternity cover for a key member of our team, the cover is for at least a year but may extend. We are looking for an individual who has significant commercial experience, coupled with account delivery and operations. The primary role will be to support a key strategic customer, managing the overall client relationship (there is delivery support on the account to manage delivery issues). Additional responsibilities include supporting the organisations growth through providing support to other accounts, being the interface for recruitment and HR (with other key members in the team covering HR and Recruitment management), as well as assisting in all areas of growth in helping coordinate and manage sales, marketing etc.

This is a highly supported role, working closely with the Sales team, Talent/ Operations/ CFO and CEO. Consultancy experience and strong commercial acumen will be critical coupled with a sense of urgency and an exceptional approach to customer success.

We are a flexible organisation, with the expectation of 3 working days that could be spread out based on the agreed core hours, (1 day a week in the office – Sydney CBD).

We are open to considering employees returning to work or parents looking for a hybrid / flexible part time role.

Responsibilities

• Day to day delivery management including proactively identifying risks and issues.

• Oversight of all engagements on accounts, from presales through to estimation and completion.

• Escalation point for customer matters.

• Maintain trusted relationships between DevOps1 and customers, ensuring customers are delighted with DevOps1 services with a consistent and proactive delivery model.

• Accountable for meeting and tracking agreed account performance targets and deliverables.

• Accountable for strategic account planning in collaboration with Account Directors, Technical Practice Leads and Delivery Managers.

• Proactive customer success integration within customers, with opportunity identification and expansion within select customer accounts.

• Accountable for strategic initiatives and value-based innovation and roadmaps, in conjunction with Technical Practice Leads and Delivery Managers, within select customer accounts.

• Proactive resource planning for DevOps1 and select customer accounts in conjunction with Talent, Practice Leads and Delivery Managers.

• Responsible for Customer Success level reporting from a people, delivery, capability, and financial perspective, including customer facing delivery governance.

• Financial management including P&L and forecasting, in collaboration with CFO.

• Responsible for prioritisation for DevOps1, including working with People & Culture, Talent, and Operations Delivery Management to ensure every engagement is run and delivered successfully.

• Supporting the CEO with sales management and administration, including revenue reporting, forecasts, CRM management and liaising with sales team to build and drive positive pipeline growth. 

Your Skills & Experience

• Experience of working in a commercial environment, ideally a technology consultancy and/or services company

• Wide ranging experience that covers all areas of operations such as People & Culture / Talent & Recruitment etc.

• Experience in a role working closely with enterprise customers, dealing with operational and delivery challenges.

• Robust senior stakeholder management skills

• A solid understanding of the commercial model of consulting, including profit margins, resource utilisation etc.

• Ideally experience of the SDLC, testing experience ideal, but not essential.

• Comfortable working in a flexible, adaptable but fast paced environment.
