Synopsis

  • This is a permanent part time opportunity (30.4 hours across 4 days per week)
  • $83,741 - $94,243 (Pro-rated for part-time & dependent on skills & experience) + 11% Superannuation

About The Role We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Presenter Services Coordinator to be the primary point of contact for presenters, hirers, and patrons at Kensington Town Hall, ensuring an exceptional experience for all. Joining at this exciting startup phase of a new focus on the arts, you will have a unique opportunity to help guide and shape the future of Kensington Town Hall. In this role, you will manage bookings, facilitate events, and embody the welcoming presence that Kensington Town Hall is known for. Your efforts will contribute to the Town Hall's mission of serving as a cultural hub for the arts within our municipality, adhering to Council policies, and fostering a strong sense of community engagement. You will collaborate closely with the Presenter Services Coordinator at Meat Market, working together to support a variety of artistic and community events. Your organisational skills, commitment to customer service, and passion for the arts will help enhance Kensington Town Hall’s reputation as a premier venue for cultural activities.   • Previous experience as an effective Bookings/Venue Coordinator, Front of House Manager or similar role within the arts sector is desirable.
  • Strong track record of providing excellent customer service in a busy environment, including the ability to relate to a diverse range of customers, team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of data and statistics in a venue or facility context.
  • Excellent administrative skills including the ability to manage systems, prepare documents and files, schedules, and financial records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Proven proficiency and experience successfully using a wide range of computer packages, including database programs and MS Office applications, for analysis, reporting, presentations, and other purposes as required.
