Job Description - Remote Office Manager


Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Remote Office Manager to join our team at AK Steel Holding in Adelaide, South Australia. As a part-time Associate Level role, the Remote Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our remote office location. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in office management and a strong ability to work independently in a remote setting.


Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all office operations remotely, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning of daily tasks - Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for remote team members - Handle communication with clients, vendors, and employees in a professional and timely manner - Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed - Assist with HR functions such as onboarding new employees and managing employee records - Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes - Handle basic accounting tasks such as expense tracking and budgeting - Assist with travel arrangements and accommodations for team members - Act as a point of contact for any office-related issues or concerns that may arise


Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in office management or related field - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment - Confident and adaptable personality traits to handle diverse tasks and responsibilities - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other office management software - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus - Must have access to a reliable internet connection and necessary equipment to work remotely
