We are seeking a Chat Support Associate to join our remote team based in Melbourne, Victoria. As a Chat Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers through chat communication channels. This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner through chat to answer queries and provide solutions to their issues. 2. Troubleshoot technical problems that customers may encounter while using our products or services. 3. Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers. 4. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments within the company for resolution. 5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, response time, and issue resolution. 7. Assist in training new Chat Support Associates as needed. 8. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better serve customers.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. 4. Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 5. Persuasion skills to convince customers of solutions and products that best fit their needs. 6. Confidence and resilience to handle challenging customer interactions. 7. Tech-savvy and comfortable using chat platforms and other communication tools. 8. High school diploma or equivalent.
