Job Description:
United Technologies is seeking a Chat Support Manager to join our remote team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, AU. As a Chat Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our chat support team, ensuring that customer inquiries are handled promptly and efficiently. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and supervise a team of chat support agents, providing guidance and support as needed. 2. Monitor chat support performance metrics and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency. 3. Develop and maintain chat support policies and procedures. 4. Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and improve overall customer experience. 5. Train new chat support agents and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing team members. 6. Handle escalated customer inquiries and ensure timely resolution. 7. Maintain a positive and productive working environment for the chat support team.
Requirements: 1. Reliable and dedicated personality traits are essential for success in this role. 2. Strong time management and negotiation skills are required. 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 5. Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment is preferred. 6. Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
