Job Description - Chat Support Manager

Job Description:


Exxon Mobil is seeking a motivated and resilient Chat Support Manager to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland, AU. As a Mid-to-Senior Level professional with at least 8 years of experience in customer service or support roles, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of chat support agents to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.


Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the chat support team - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention - Train and onboard new chat support agents - Monitor chat interactions to ensure quality and accuracy - Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions - Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless customer service experience - Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints - Develop and implement performance improvement plans for underperforming agents - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer support


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - 8 years of experience in customer service or support roles - Proven track record of managing and leading a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure - Proficiency in chat support software and tools - Experience in the energy or oil and gas industry is a plus
