Job Description - Remote Chat Support Manager

Job Description:


We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Remote Chat Support Manager to join our team at Lincoln National in Sydney, New South Wales, AU. As the Remote Chat Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of chat support agents who assist customers with their inquiries and issues through online chat.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and lead a team of chat support agents, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the chat support team. 3. Monitor chat support performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement. 4. Provide coaching and feedback to chat support agents to help them achieve their goals and improve their skills. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer support experience. 6. Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. 2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in customer service, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Proven ability to think strategically and lead a team to success. 5. Proficiency in chat support platforms and software. 6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
