Job Description - Contact Center Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:


Alaska Air Group is seeking a Contact Center Specialist to join our team remotely from Perth, Western Australia. As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat channels. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: - Handle incoming customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner - Assist customers with booking flights, changing reservations, and providing general information about our airline services - Utilize creative problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and provide solutions - Negotiate with customers to reach mutually beneficial outcomes - Maintain high levels of energy and enthusiasm to engage with customers effectively - Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products to provide accurate information to customers - Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Meet set targets for customer satisfaction and resolution times


Requirements: - Reliable and energetic personality traits - Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach - Creativity and negotiation skills to handle various customer scenarios - Proficiency in using contact center software and CRM tools - Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team - High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred - Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus - Must have a quiet and dedicated workspace at home with a reliable internet connection
