Job Description - Customer Care Officer

Job Description:


We are looking for a Customer Care Officer to join our team at Virgin Australia in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. As a Customer Care Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner. You will act as the main point of contact for any customer inquiries, complaints, or feedback, and work towards finding effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities: - Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person - Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and efficient manner - Provide customers with accurate information on flights, services, and policies - Assist passengers with bookings, cancellations, and changes to their travel plans - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and feedback - Identify opportunities for improvement in customer service processes


Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a customer service role - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure - Resilient and able to handle difficult situations with grace - Strategic planning skills to anticipate customer needs and provide proactive solutions
