Job Description:
Qantas Airways is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Customer Service Assistant in Adelaide, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers and assisting with various tasks to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
Responsibilities: 1. Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters, gates, and arrivals/departures areas. 2. Handle inquiries, complaints, and requests from passengers in a professional and timely manner. 3. Process ticket purchases, changes, and refunds using the airline's reservation system. 4. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking procedures, including wheelchair assistance when needed. 5. Coordinate with other departments, such as baggage handling and flight operations, to ensure efficient and seamless operations. 6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking supplies and informational materials. 7. Assist with special projects and events as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the aviation industry. 2. Resourceful and adaptable personality traits to effectively handle unexpected situations and challenges. 3. Strong planning and analysis skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and colleagues in a professional manner. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with reservation systems is a plus. 7. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
