Job Description - Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Insurance Australia Group in Melbourne, Victoria. As an Entry Level position, no prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in customer service.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients through various communication channels including phone, email, and chat 2. Assist customers with inquiries, claims, policy changes, and general information about our products and services 3. Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience 6. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates


Requirements: 1. Motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude 2. Resilient personality with the ability to handle challenging situations with grace 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 4. Strong people management skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers 5. Ability to work well in a team and independently with minimal supervision 6. Experience in customer service or similar role is a plus but not required
