Job Description - Customer Support Assistant


Job Description: As a Customer Support Assistant at Performance Food Group, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our valued customers in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. You will be responsible for assisting with customer inquiries, resolving issues, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your passion for customer service and resourcefulness will be key in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person - Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner - Process customer orders and ensure accurate delivery - Maintain and update customer records in the database - Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and concerns - Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for customer support improvement - Assist with special projects as needed - Provide administrative support to the customer support team


Requirements: - 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Strong project management skills - Excellent research abilities - Passion for providing exceptional customer support - Resourceful problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
