Job Description - Customer Support Manager

Job Description:


CenterPoint Energy is seeking a talented and experienced Customer Support Manager to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. As a part-time position at a mid-to-senior level, the Customer Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer support operations and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer support experience - Supervise a team of customer support representatives, providing guidance and training as needed - Monitor and evaluate customer support performance metrics, and implement improvements to meet and exceed KPIs - Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in customer support, implementing relevant changes as necessary


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred - Minimum of 8 years of experience in customer support or a related field - Proven track record of successfully managing a customer support team - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Adaptable and independent, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills - Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
