Job Description:
As a Customer Support Officer at Costco in Melbourne, Victoria, AU, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members. This part-time entry-level position requires individuals who are resilient and confident, with a strong ability to engage with customers and resolve any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities: - Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner via phone, email, and in-person - Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and efficient manner - Provide product information and assistance to customers - Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds - Assist customers with membership sign-ups and renewals - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Conduct research to address customer inquiries and provide solutions - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions - Assist with store operations as needed
Requirements: - No prior experience required, but a passion for customer service is a must - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment - Strategic planning abilities to anticipate customer needs and proactively address them - Research skills to gather information and provide accurate responses to customer inquiries
