Job Description:
American Airlines Group is currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. As a part-time entry-level position, this role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the airline industry while providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.
Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent customer service through various communication channels, including phone, email, and social media. 2. Assist passengers with booking flights, managing reservations, and resolving issues related to their travel experience. 3. Handle passenger inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner. 4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for our customers. 5. Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and provide feedback to management. 6. Utilize critical thinking and emotional intelligence skills to de-escalate difficult situations and find creative solutions to customer problems. 7. Meet and exceed performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, response times, and resolution rates. 8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge of the airline industry.
Requirements: 1. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. 2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. 4. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 5. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. 6. Ability to think critically and empathize with customers to understand their needs and concerns. 7. Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required. 8. High school diploma or equivalent.
