We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Live Chat Associate to join our team at Barnes & Noble. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
As a Live Chat Associate, your main responsibility will be to provide timely and accurate support to customers through our online chat platform. You will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, processing orders, and providing recommendations on products and services. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time through our online chat platform - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns - Assist customers with their orders, product recommendations, and troubleshooting issues - Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution - Meet or exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company - Provide feedback to help improve our customer service processes
Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a customer service or related role - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks - Hardworking and adaptable personality traits - Strong planning and decision-making skills - High-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace at home
