Job Description - Online Customer Care Assistant

Job Description:


Auto-Owners Insurance, a leading insurance company in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking a part-time Online Customer Care Assistant to join our team. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer service and be driven and resourceful in their work.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to online customer inquiries promptly and professionally 2. Assist customers with policy inquiries, claims, billing questions, and technical support 3. Provide exceptional customer service through email, chat, and social media platforms 4. Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions 6. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in customer care processes 7. Support the development and implementation of online customer care initiatives 8. Participate in training and development programs to enhance customer service skills


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred 2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively 5. Presentation and project management skills 6. Previous experience in online customer service is a plus 7. Must be detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure
