Online Web Chat Officer

Job Description:

Interpublic Group is seeking a part-time Online Web Chat Officer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. As a member of our Associate Level team, you will be responsible for providing online chat support to customers, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our products and services. This role requires a motivated individual who is able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance through online chat 2. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner 3. Provide information about products and services to customers 4. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude when interacting with customers 5. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience 6. Implement effective negotiation techniques to address customer concerns 7. Create and maintain customer records and feedback for reporting purposes 8. Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies 9. Meet or exceed performance targets and goals set by the company 10. Participate in training and professional development activities as required

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role 2. Strong communication and presentation skills 3. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment 4. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to resolve conflicts 5. Proficiency in using online chat platforms and other customer service tools 6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities 7. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively 8. Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service 9. Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
