Remote Web Chat Associate

Job Description:

United States Steel is seeking a Remote Web Chat Associate to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. This part-time position is at an associate level and requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be driven, reliable, possess strong critical thinking skills, and have a knack for innovation.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through web chat to provide accurate and timely information about our products and services. 2. Assist customers with inquiries, issues, and orders in a professional and courteous manner. 3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer concerns. 4. Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex customer inquiries and provide solutions. 5. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Meet or exceed performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, response time, and issue resolution.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2. Proven experience in a customer service or sales role. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with web-based platforms. 5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 7. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
