Web Chat Representative - Remote Work

Job Overview:

Alaska Air Group is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Web Chat Representative to join our team on a part-time, remote basis in Sydney, New South Wales, AU. As an Associate Level team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through our web chat platform. The ideal candidate will be confident in their communication skills and adept at managing customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate solutions through web chat. 2. Assist customers with booking flights, managing reservations, and resolving any issues they may encounter. 3. Utilize resources and tools effectively to provide a seamless customer experience. 4. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions. 5. Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate excellent people management skills when dealing with challenging situations. 6. Keep up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and promotions to accurately assist customers. 7. Meet and exceed performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, response times, and resolution rates. 8. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience. 9. Provide feedback and insights to management to help identify areas of improvement.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or related role. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer inquiries. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Resourceful and confident in managing customer interactions. 6. Proficiency in using web chat platforms and other communication tools. 7. Experience in the travel industry is a plus. 8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 10. Flexibility to work in a remote environment with the necessary equipment and internet connection.
