What You'll Be Doing An excellent opportunity is now available to join the Trauma team located at Nepean Hospital in the role of Data Co-ordinator. This Administration position is offered as a Permanent Part time role. The Trauma Data Registry Coordinator is responsible for the timely entry of data into the NSW State Collector Trauma Registry (or other appointed trauma registry in its place). This role involves assisting with the data extraction and collection process, in liaison with the Trauma Clinical Nurse Consultant. The Trauma Registry Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and the quality of the data, within the trauma registry and bears a substantial role in the preparation, the analysis and the provision of reports. A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form – IM011 form). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa. Selection Criteria To Be Addressed
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role and proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications e.g. word, excel, power point
  • Excellent Oral and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and implement systems and processes to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • A strong commitment to customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Demonstrated experience in data entry/management and/or Trauma Registry Database
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain spreadsheets and database and provide regular reports
  • Understanding Medical Terminology.
