Anaesthetic Clinical Nurse Specialist - Part-Time

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Anaesthetic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the busy Theatre Department, and work across 4 fully equipped operating theatres at a private hospital in regional NSW. It is a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your Key Accountabilities:

• Supporting the Perioperative Services Manager and Theatre Floor Coordinator in implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision;
• Demonstrating advanced clinical expertise and knowledge in anaesthetics whilst providing clinical guidance, leadership, and education to members of the clinical team;
• Providing excellent customer service focus and positive role-modelling behaviours;
• Providing a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork across the multi-disciplinary framework.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute perioperative environment;
• Extensive experience in anaesthetics;
• Advanced problem-solving and negotiation skills with the ability to think critically and prioritise workloads;
• Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience;
• Postgraduate qualification in the appropriate specialty is essential.

REMUNERATION

A base hourly rate ranging from $50.29 + superannuation, based on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located in Nowra, is a 62-bed facility that provides acute surgical and medical services, rehabilitation, and day surgery services. All departments are staffed by experienced and skilled healthcare professionals familiar with the latest developments and research in their respective fields.
