Communications Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

Farmers Insurance Exchange is currently seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Communications Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a remote work position based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, AU. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in communications or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to promote Farmers Insurance Exchange products and services - Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, email newsletters, and website - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent across all platforms - Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and adjust strategies as needed - Assist in crisis communication and reputation management when necessary

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field - 2+ years of experience in a communications role - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with diverse audiences - Strategic planning skills to develop long-term communication strategies - Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Driven and adaptable attitude towards challenging situations
