The School prides itself on the diverse range of activities it offers students and this is due to the generosity and expertise of the staff.   About the Role  The Front Office Manager role involves supporting and working under the direction of the Principal. The Front Office Manager is the first point of contact between the school and the community. Experience in administration is essential. The role will require highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. The applicant must have a sound knowledge of the applications in Microsoft Office, Canva, Excel and be willing to learn school based programs such as Compass and TechOne.  Benefits and Opportunities  A positive and collaborative workplace culture  24 weeks of paid parental leave (maternity/adoption)  Up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave (paternity/non-initial primary carer leave)  Support for professional development and study opportunities  Opportunities to transfer to other schools within the Archdiocese across ACT and NSW to support lifestyle choice Key Responsibilities A wide range of professional support, administration, secretarial and clerical duties, including typing, word processing, data entry, maintaining email and computerised records, database information, electronic rolls, attendance records, student enrolments, student information and petty cash; Basic clerical duties including filing, collating, handling mail, checking figures; Responding to enquiries from students, parents, employees, and the Word processing of routine correspondence, including internal and external publications; Coordinating appointments with Principal; Coordination and checking enrolment forms, set up interview requirements and finalising parent contracts; Care for and comfort sick and distressed students and administer and record first aid where required; Maintain student Compass records and parent contact details; and Financial duties such as receipting over the counter payments  Essential Criteria  Must hold a relevant Working with Children registration; First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain;  Hold a Certificate IV or equivalent relevant experience or knowledge  Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to relate with staff and parents in a professional, informed, adaptable and caring manner; Experience in reception duties an general office functions; Ability to maintain confidentiality; Ability to work individually and collegially as part of a team applying strong interpersonal skill with a courteous and cooperative approach; Professional experience and working knowledge with computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload in an office environment; Strong planning and organisational skills; Good communication (both oral and written) and negotiation skills; and Demonstrated capacity to undertake administrative tasks efficiently and complete them in a timely manner with the willingness to learn new skills.
