Online Social Media Manager

Job Description:

Vodafone Hutchison Australia is seeking a part-time Online Social Media Manager to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As an associate-level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in social media management and a strong passion for digital marketing.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement on various online platforms. 2. Manage and monitor social media accounts, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing performance metrics. 3. Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and copywriting. 4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing to continuously improve our online presence. 5. Conduct competitor research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation. 6. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members to ensure the successful execution of social media campaigns. 7. Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and agencies to amplify our social media reach. 8. Monitor and analyze social media data to track performance, identify trends, and report on key metrics to the management team.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the telecommunications industry. 3. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. 4. Proven track record of creating engaging content and growing social media following. 5. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 6. Independent and hardworking with a proactive approach to problem-solving. 7. Strong research skills and ability to think creatively to generate innovative ideas. 8. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
