Job Description:
General Mills is seeking a part-time Online Social Media Manager to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales, AU. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in social media management.
Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. 2. Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. 3. Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. 4. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create visually appealing and engaging social media content. 5. Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure General Mills remains at the forefront of digital marketing. 6. Manage social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and conversions. 7. Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner. 8. Work closely with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand General Mills' online reach. 9. Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting and engagement. 10. Report on key social media metrics and provide insights for future improvements.
Requirements: 1. Independent and reliable with the ability to work autonomously. 2. Strong research and teamwork skills. 3. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 4. Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 6. Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies. 7. Experience working with social media influencers is a plus. 8. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
