Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and resourceful PR Associate to join Duke Energy in Perth, Western Australia. This part-time position at the Associate level requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations or a related field. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to promote the company's initiatives and maintain a positive public image.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance brand awareness - Write press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and secure media coverage - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging - Monitor press coverage and prepare reports on media relations efforts - Organize and participate in press conferences, events, and speaking engagements - Manage social media channels and respond to online inquiries - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media contacts and industry influencers

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in public relations or a similar role - Strong time management and organizational skills - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of media relations best practices - Proficiency in social media management tools - Proven track record of successful PR campaigns
