Job Description:

WestRock is seeking a proactive and talented PR Associate to join our team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies to enhance the company's reputation and promote our brand.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute PR campaigns to promote company initiatives and events - Write press releases, articles, and other content for various media outlets - Cultivate relationships with media contacts to secure coverage for the company - Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management - Assist in organizing and coordinating press conferences and events - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent across all channels - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities - Support social media efforts to engage with the company's audience

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in PR or communications - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Independent and able to work proactively with minimal supervision - Driven and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with media databases and PR tools - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
