Pr Associate

Job Description:

Sonic Automotive is seeking a motivated and energetic PR Associate to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the PR team in developing and implementing communication strategies to promote the company's brand and reputation. This is a part-time position at the Associate level, requiring at least 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist in creating and distributing press releases, media alerts, and other written materials. 2. Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns. 3. Coordinate events, press conferences, and other PR activities. 4. Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and key stakeholders. 5. Assist in managing social media platforms and engaging with followers. 6. Support the PR team in crisis communication and issues management. 7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 2. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 3. Ability to work collaboratively and manage relationships with external partners. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms. 5. Experience in event planning and media relations. 6. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 7. Motivated and energetic with a positive attitude.
