Remote Pr Associate

Job Description:

Group 1 Automotive, a leading automotive retailer in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, is currently seeking a Remote PR Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Associate level position, we are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR campaigns to promote our brand and products - Write press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and coordinate interviews with key stakeholders - Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify opportunities for our brand - Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers - Assist in organizing events and press conferences - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PR

Requirements: - Passionate about PR and marketing - Independent and able to work remotely with minimal supervision - Excellent negotiation skills and emotional intelligence - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
