Academic Teacher Web Development - Exciting Challenge - Part-Time

We're looking for someone to join our team at Coder Academy, helping train junior devs as they break into the industry. (Work From Home, any Australian location)

The ideal addition to our team is someone who has an absolute passion for mentoring others and a good grasp of modern development languages, frameworks and tools (focus on Python, JavaScript, React, and Node/Express). Tasks/Responsibilites

• Lesson delivery in our Web Development courses
• Lesson preparation
• Student support
• Assessment marking
• Content development

Preferred Background

• Experience in teaching and or working within the fields of web dev and coding/programming 
• Minimum of one year's experience in industry
• Holds technical skills commonly used within web dev and coding. This may include and is not exclusive to:
• Programming: preferably Python and JavaScript.
• Frameworks and libraries: preferably Flask , ReactJS, Node.js and Express.js
• Source control: Git, GitHub
• Data Science (desirable)
• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant field, OR can demonstrate technical competency in relevant subject matter
• Demonstrated ability for stakeholder management
• Demonstrated good people management skills
• Demonstrated good communication skills
