Internal movement has created an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team at our Kings Park office location.
The Opportunity
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for provision of accounting and clerical support. You will will assist with aged debtors and cash flow for the organisation and be the initial point of contact for clients in relation to their accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively manage all collections activity on a ledger (approximately 1000 accounts) in accordance with Bonds' Credit Policy, with a focus on ageing debt.
- Fortnightly review of 45 day accounts in consultation with the Credit Manager.
- Assess accounts with defaults for non-payment/disputes – assess whether deductions/disputes are valid by liaising with other departments within Bonds.
- Monitor credit amounts in relation to Aged Ledger on a weekly basis.
- Account reconciliation. Regular review of accounts pending for credit check.
- Respond and action admin and Accounts receivable emails on a daily basis.
- Action internal and external queries (phone, email & face to face) in a timely and professional manner.
- Achievement of Key Performance Indicator’s (KPIs) as determined by Bonds.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the wider Bonds team.
- Positively contribute to the organisation's culture by acting responsibly and in the best interest of Bonds.
