Job Description - Admin & Base Support - Part-Time

Role Overview

LTTS is currently on the lookout for an admin and base support person. This is a part-time position in Alice Springs. NT.  In this largely unsupervised role, you will run our office/admin tasks, manage bookings, facilitate customer support and manage trek logistics orders and shop sales for both Larapinta Trail Trek Support and Australian Alps Trek Support. 

This is a mid-tier level role and would be suitable for someone with at least 2 years of admin/office management experience.  This role does at times require physical field work tasks.

  • ​Office & Booking Management
  • Customer Service/CRM ( Email, Phone and Chat Support)
  • E-Commerce/ Sales / Post
  • Base Management & Coordination ( with field team)
  • Some field tasks as required​

Conditions

  • Alice Springs, NT
  • Contract
  • Part-Time (20 hours per week),
  • Mon-Thu / 830am-130pm
  • 12% superannuation

Minimum Requirements (No Exceptions)

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and similar industry
  • Must be a current Alice Springs resident and lived in Alice Springs for a minimum of 1 year or are willing to move here.
  • Current Certificate III in Business Administration or Equiv ( or willing to obtain)
  • Experience and competency in Office 360, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Shopify, CRM Software, LiveChat, Rezdy, ChatGPT.
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current Basic First Aid Certificate​

Highly Desirable (Any one or more)

  • ​Current H Endorsed Licence (NT)
  • Full Manual Licence
  • 4WD Course
  • Completed the Larapinta Trail End to End in the last two years​

Recruitment and Selection Requirements

You will be required to complete or undertake:​

  • a psychometric assessment
  • a Criminal and Traffic History Check
  • an onsite selection panel
  • A practical exam ( online and in person)
  • an IT and software literacy and competency assessment
  • a cyber security awareness assessment
  • Extensive Reference Checks. Your referees will be required to complete a comprehensive online reference assessment
