Hi-Line Rooftop Bar is back for another season and we’re currently recruiting for an Assistant Bar Manager who will be responsible in ensuring all operational procedures are followed as you guide your team through busy service periods.

Hi-Line Rooftop Bar caters for a variety of services from corporate functions to leisurely gatherings of friends. Hi-Line will feature premium cocktails, beer, wine, champagne and a truly unique high altitude experience.



This is a contract position running from October 2025 – May 2026 (Part Time Hours).

About you



You’ll bring the following:

• Previous experience working within a Supervisory or Assistant Manager position
• Ensuring quality of service and customer service are always at a high standard
• Assisting with the training and development of staff
• Providing support when needed to front-line staff
• Organise, setup and co-ordinate functions and events
• Opening and closing of the venue
• Assisting with the scheduling and rostering of employees
• General stock ordering and stock take/stock control

To be successful, you’ll:

• Hold or willing to obtain a current RSA certificate
• Approved Managers Card

This role requires you to: 

• Work across a rotating roster of morning, daytime, and evening shifts
• Have previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Show a willingness to learn 3 plate carry and tray service of drinks
