Job Description - Assistant Manager, Part Time, Carlton Learning Precinct

We’re looking for an inspiring leader to join the team at Carlton Learning Precinct with a history of demonstrating, advocating and
collaborating across the sector. This role includes working in partnership with Carlton Primary school and other community services, making a positive impact for the local community.

About the Role 

The Assistant Manager oversees
the service’s operational activities, ensuring they are carried out effectively
and efficiently. This role involves meeting compliance obligations and
identifying opportunities for improvement across the program consistent with
the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).


As a leader, the Assistant
Manager is also expected to build strong relationships with children, families,
and educators, fostering an inviting, engaging, high-quality, and responsive
service.

The position is part time,.8FTE however .9FTE may be considered.

About You (Selection Criteria)

·      Previous experience in
Leadership/Management in an ECEC setting with the ability to motivate,
influence, mentor, and coach individuals and teams.

·      Demonstrated ability to
establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators,
community, and other relevant stakeholders.

·      Previous experience in managing
Compliance and Operations in an ECEC setting.

·      Previous experience in service
development (e.g., QIP) in an ECEC setting.

·      In depth working knowledge of
the NQF (comprising the Education and Care Services National Law and National
Regs) and the NQS.
