Bookkeeper

The Role

The client is an Australian owned & operated construction company. Seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team ASAP.

This role will be part-time and 2-3 days per week on-site at their Eastern suburbs Office, with flexible start/finish times.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Processing payments, receipts & journal entries into XERO
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Processing payroll, payroll tax & superannuation
• Preparation of BAS

About You

You will have at least 3 year's experience in a full-function accounts or bookkeeping role.

• Proven problem-solving abilities
• Strong working knowledge of Xero
• Solid understanding of Australian tax obligations including GST, BAS, and payroll
• Proven problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
