South West Cardiology is a busy medical specialist practice located in Liverpool. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist the Practice Manager with accounts and general office duties. This part-time position involves approximately three days per week on-site in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all bookkeeping functions, including Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Generate regular financial reports for management.
• Process payroll: enter approved timesheets, handle tax payments, issue pay slips, and manage staff superannuation.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documents.
• Prepare EOFY financials and BAS, and liaise with external accountants as required.
• Order supplies and assist the Practice Manager with additional office duties.
• Provide support to business partners as needed.
About You:
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software.
• Previous payroll processing experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
• Experience with internal systems and processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Punctual, reliable, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experience in medical billing, Medicare, or health funds is highly regarded.
