About the role:

As a part-time Bookkeeper at Asta, you will work closely with our corporate services team to manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, values precision, and has a proactive approach to work. 

You will be involved in: 

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Reconcile entries in the accounting system
• Record debits and credits
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy
• Ensure compliance with local laws and reporting requirements
• Monitor budget variances
• Review and issue weekly and monthly invoices

To thrive in this role, you will need to have: 

• Proven experience working with MYOB
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on urgency
• Willingness to learn new accounting software and platforms
• Experience with Datto is highly advantageous
