Bus Driver - Rutherford Park Care Community

About the role:

• This fixed term contract position to work between our Rutherford, Maitland and Raymond Terrace Care Communities
• Working Monday to Friday, coverage for annual leave
• Driving residents to and from venues as part of activity program delivery
• Interacting with residents – learning names and interests
• Assist residents with moving on and off transport including moving and restraining wheelchairs
• Ensure that WHS Practices and Traffic Laws are followed
• Provide friendly and engaging customer service

Our ideal candidates will demonstrate:

• To hold a current MR Driving licence
• The ability to work 5 days per week 
• Current First Aid & CPR qualification
• Demonstrated previous passenger bus driving experience 
• An outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance via Opal HealthCare's police check system and undergo a pre-employment medical. You may also be required to attend a drug screen and complete psychometric testing. 

You must also be willing to obtain a personal NDISWC through your state government provider prior to commencing employment with us.
