Caretaker Manager - Innovative Company - Part-Time

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker to maintain and provide assistance in our over 50s Community at St Georges Basin

Approximately 20 - 25 hours per week.

The Caretaker will be responsible for the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of the property. This role requires strong gardening skills, manual lifting, and attention to detail, as well as having a proactive approach to property maintenance.

All day-to-day travel expenses, tools, and equipment are included for all positions, with a work vehicle available for use onsite and to run work-related errands. 

Core Responsibilities:

Groundskeeping & Maintenance:

• Maintain and enhance the appearance of the common area landscaping, including lawns, gardens, and internal shared areas t
• Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and presentation of the common areas including pathways, driveways, restrooms, and clubhouse.
• Routine gardening - watering, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, planting, mulching, and fertilizing throughout the community.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify & action maintenance either completed by you or an external contractor as needed.
• Weekly garbage collection and disposal at the local waste refuge.

Administration:

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft and Outlook
• Monthly reporting
• Ensure compliance is updated when required as per the maintenance schedule such as Fire Safety liaising with our appointed contractor
• Annual operating certification liaising with the council etc.
• Coordination for obtaining quotes for major works to send to your manager for approval.

You must be a self-starter and have a current manual driving license, a great attitude, an inclusive nature, the ability to think on your feet, and enthusiasm for the job.
